THE LONG HARD ROAD

Marilyn Manson's been around since 1989, but they really didn't reach major popularity until about 1996. Shock rock, that's what they called it. And was it ever! But there's something about Manson himself that you've got to love. Or love to hate in protester's and deluded parents' eyes. This man is extremely intelligent. One look into his mesmerizing mismatched eyes and you can see the intellect burning behind them. His views on the world really make you stop and think, and perhaps question things that you would have never noticed. His music goes deep, especially the new album, "Mechanical Animals". He's gone from being downright scary to more glam. Some people aren't too crazy about his change in appearance, but think of it this way: His message doesn't change. And that's what matters most, correct?
